Abstract
Since the first Guillaumian conference in 1966, André Jacob has kept warning linguists against an improper use of the root « psycho » in « psychomechanics ». Thus, he was led to justify the idea of signifying mechanics contributing to a general theorization of the human condition. However, the promotion of linguistic mechanics constitutes a revolution against the metaphysics of a Cogito still precious to Guillaume. Futhermore, the localization of tongue in a constant Instant no doubt relates its reiterated capability of instanciations to an instanciality irreducible to the instantization of data processing. Lastly, the process of symbolization, while admitting of the theoretical dimension of tongue, confirms its status at the heart of the human condition in a post-humboldtian and post-metaphysical way.
Résumé
Depuis le 1er colloque guillaumien en 1966, André Jacob n’a cessé de mettre en garde contre une utilisation erronée de la racine « psycho » dans l’intitulé « psychomécanique». Il a ainsi été conduit à justifier l’idée d’une mécanique signifiante et sa contribution à une théorisation générale de la condition humaine. Cependant, promouvoir une mécanique linguistique, constitue une révolution par rapport à la métaphysique d’un Cogito cher au linguiste. De plus, la localisation de la langue dans un Instant constant appelle à rapporter sa puissance réitérée d’instanciations à une instancialité, irréductible à l’instantanéisation informatique. Enfin, la symbolisation, en autorisant la dimension théorétique de la langue, l’impose d’une manière post-humboldtienne et post-métaphysique au cœur de la condition humaine.
Rezumat
Începând cu primul colocviu guillaumian din 1966, André Jacob nu a încetat să atenţioneze asupra folosirii eronate a rădăcinii ‘psycho’ din termenul ‘psychomécanique’. El a ajuns astfel să justifice ideea unei mecanici semnificante, precum şi contribuţia sa la o teoretizare generală a condiţiei umane. Totuşi, promovarea unei mecanici lingvistice constituie o revoluţie faţă de metafizica Cogito-ului cartezian preţuit de Guillaume. Totodată, localizarea limbii într-un Instant constant conduce la a raporta puterea sa de instanţieri reiterată la o instanţialitate, ireductibilă la instantaneizarea informatică. În fine, simbolizarea, autorizând dimensiunea teoretică a limbii, o impune într-o manieră post-humboldtiană şi post-metafizică în centrul condiţiei umane.
