Abstract
This study suggests an analysis over Arghezi’s first novel, Holy Mary’s Eyes, in a Baroque aestetics perspective. The Baroque elements illustrated in this novel are: the mixture of genres and species, the character’s contradictions, the quaint, the reality going bad, the contrasts.
