Abstract
Only a few of writers of our literature had been welcomed by the literature critics.
Since 1926 Felix Aderca considered T. Arghezi the greatest contemporary poet writer, with a complex personality and M. Ralea considered him: ”the greatesc well – kown poet, since Eminescu”.
T. Arghezi has been unique in his time through three features: he has created a large end special universe, with a great variety of themes and the most important feature is that he has acomplished the mission of making a revolution in the language, after Eminescu did the same, in his poetical own way.
As far as the themes are concerned, we can observe the variety , the complexity of themes, so this could be the reason for talking about Arghezi’s poetry as a philosophical, social, love poetry.
