Abstract

For the romanian culture, in general, for the romanian educational system, especially, the

talent and the efforts of Slavici ment a step towards modern age. His concern for the knowledge of

folks literatures combined with his hope for implementing a complete language was transformed by

Slavici into a matter of national interest.
