Abstract
Printing of the textbook Musical Culture for the lower grades of primary school grade in
Romanian language, as well as the Guide Book for Teachers published by the publishing house
ZUNS from Belgrade, Novi Sad department, is a modest contribution to the reform of education in
our setting in the spirit of Bologna declaration. The light motive of these publications is “from the
need to innovation in teaching” whereas the aim is to eliminate a great number of shortcomings
existing in the teaching of musical culture nowadays, on the one hand, and to use contemporary
textbooks designed with more innovations, on the other. The textbooks Musical Culture and Guide
Book for Teachers in Romanian language are the first step in the disappearance of the “vacuum”
existing in the subject. The students of one class, whose musical abilities significantly differ, will
not be able to, under the same conditions, successfully follow the same program contents from
traditional textbooks. Consequently, we are facing the demand for teaching to be differentiated and
individualized textbook.
