Abstract

A Few Memories on the Măgurele Village. The Măgurele village was part of the Otelesanu

domains. It became a property of the Romanian Academy by a will that stipulated the

responsability to create a scool for poor girls. This is how it was founded the Romanian Academy’ s

Otelesanu Institute, of which director, durind 1894-1908, was Ioan Slavici, for over 14 years.
