Abstract
This approach reveals the manners of the nobility from Ţara Românească duing the Eighteenth century and first half of the Nineteenth century. Taking into consideration the confesions of foreign travelers and the Romanian documents we tried to put to light a segment of nobility’s everyday life. Luxury, infidelity, prostitution are usual phenomena in those documents, but they are considered to be related to the manners of the nobility from Western Europe.
