Abstract
The aim of my paper is to present the issues related to the Silvia Ditvall’s reception in Romania. She is one of the Romanian authors established abroad, but she did not forget her country, Romanian language and tradition. In her works we fiind the following main themes: homesickness, uprooting and adolescence. The paper provides useful information accessible to anyone eager to know more about the subject.
