Abstract
In plays which deal with individual and collective pain, it is primarily the omnipresence of a trivial body which is disturbing. That of a performer, author and director of creations which are close to the performance. This envelope of flesh and blood that has become unbearable, has suffered exhaustion and self mutilation and secretes repugnant substances all over the boards. A tool or a medium of this aesthetic violence, this impulsive animalistic body can follow either a spiritual or sacred path. As a figure of martyr or redemption, the body is given, sacrificed in a ritual with every performance. The « Atra Bilis » company presents to us a highly political drama where the body reveals our relationship with Society and concretizes our refusal of established conventions.
Résumé
Dans un théâtre qui dit la souffrance individuelle et collective, c’est d’abord l’omniprésence d’un corps trivial qui sème le trouble dans la réception. C’est celui de l’interprète, auteur et metteur en scène de créations proches de la performance. Cette enveloppe de chair et de sang devenue insupportable subit l’épuisement, l’automutilation et sécrète sur les planches des substances répugnantes. Outil ou médium au service d’une esthétique de la violence, ce corps-animal impulsif peut aussi emprunter des voies spirituelles ou sacrées. Figure de martyr et/ou de rédemption, le corps est donné, sacrifié de manière rituelle à chaque représentation. La compagnie « Atra Bilis » nous présente un théâtre intimement politique où le corps révèle notre rapport à la société et concrétise le refus des conventions établies.
Rezumat
Într-un teatru în care se discută despre suferinţa individuală şi colectivă, mai degrabă omniprezenţa unui corp trivial deranjează receptarea. Aceea a celui care interpretează, autor şi director de creaţii apropiate de performanţă. Acest veşmânt de carne şi sânge devenit insuportabil, este supus la epuizare, la automutilare şi secretă subtanţe repugnante peste toate panourile. Instrument sau mediator al esteticului violenţei, acel corp-animal impulsiv poate, de asemenea, să urmeze căi spirituale sau sacre. Ca martir şi/sau mântuitor, corpul este oferit, sacrificat într-o manieră rituală la fiecare reprezentare. Compania « Atra Bilis » ne prezintă un teatru cu mari accente politice, unde corpul dezvăluie raportul nostru cu societatea şi concretizează refuzul convenţiilor stabilite.
