Abstract
:
Contribution of Drug Discovery Focus on Chemioinformatics. T.I.Oprea was born in
Timisoara where he did all his studies. After post-doctoral studies he worked in research at Astra-
Zeneca in chemoinformatics. Received the Hansch Award from QSAR and Modeling Society. Today
is professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of New Mexico, with wellknown
scientific publications but also essays concerning Romanian scientists and universities.
