Educational valencies in translations regarding children’s literature
Translations regarding children’s literature require more care than the usual translations, which regard grown-ups, because in addition to pursuing a rendering as close to the original text, it addresses to a target audience, which is at an age of aquiring intellectual abilities.
The message conveyed by children’s literature is based on moral and pedagogical considerations. However, it equally leads the children to experience new forms of sensibility.
