Abstract
This work brings to the reader’s attention an excerpt from the memoires of Slavici, in order
to plead the idea that, even the critique has considered valuables only some of Slavici’s texts, the
others enjoying outside the monographer’s attention or some casual readers, the writer’s spirit is
the same in all the sides of its creation. This enforces him as a creator with method and coherence,
whose prose writer’s gift points out in reference texts, supported, in the background, by the ample
and solid activity of a man of letters with an authentic calling.
