Abstract
The present article was aimed at offering the readers and experts a hermeneutic and linguistic journey through the translated works of Rudolf OTTO, a philosopher, theologist and historian of religions, a personality who has been less known to the Romanian public, but who has asserted himself as a vigorous mystic. The article highlights Rudolf Otto, his mysticism, his religious concepts, and, finally, his translated books: The Idea of the Holy (Sacrul), The Numinous (Despre numinos) and Eastern and Western Mysticism (Mistica orientului şi mistica occidentului).
