A LEXICAL SEMANTIC MICROFIELD IN LEXICOGRAPHIC DIACHRONY

Abstract
Starting from the 1993 version of the Le Nouveau Petit Robert monolingual dictionary, Sylvianne Rémi-Giraud assembles the lexical semantic microfield which reunites the words people, nation, state, country, motherland undertaking an analysis capable of providing an answer to the inciting question: is it possible that words possess a minimal semantic programme when encountering the world? We compile the corpus taking into consideration 19th century bilingual dictionaries in order to follow thus the semantic course of the same words.
Rezumat
Pornind de la versiunea din 1993 a dicționarului monolingv Le Nouveau Petit Robert, Sylvianne Rémi-Giraud alcătuiește micro-câmpul lexico-semantic ce reunește cuvintele popor, națiune, stat, țară, patrie și întreprinde o analiză în măsură să răspundă la o întrebare incitantă: cuvintele posedă oare la întâlnirea cu lumea un program semantic minimal? Noi alcătuim corpusul ținând cont de dicționare bilingve din secolul XIX, pentru a constata astfel parcursul semantic al acelorași cuvinte.
