Abstract
This article aims to present some unpublished texts of Benjamin Fundoianu, Romanian writer also known as Benjamin Fondane, after his departure in France.
Those confessions remained in an archive kept by his brother – in –low, Paul Daniel. The interpreter has the chance to discover the frame of reference of the intellectual and moral evolution of Benjamin Fundoianu.
Even if he is born in a Jewish family, the writer notes some caustic analogies with Jesus Christ. The dualism is a key term for all his life and work, hiding a dramatic oscillation of his own spirit, which started the pursuit of his own identity, between two religions, two ethnic groups and two ways of Being…
