CREATIVE IDENTITY OF THE ROMANIAN MINORITY WRITER IN SERBIA

Abstract
The problem of Romanian writer that belong to Romanian national minority in Vojvodina (the northern part of Serbia where Romanian population lives) is perceived, principally as a reference to system of thinking which the writers made contacts across time, within their communities, then within majority of community as well as within the context of cultural influence from Romania. Thus, in Vojvodina has been much discussed about essential facts needed to establish and maintaining Romanian identity in this region. About “Center-Periphery” relationship and the minority reflex of self-defence of individual identity as well as culture, regarded by his creative appearance, as production of values of authorial artistic plan, there are more research articles written by Romanian authors in Serbia. In this part of Serbia, were gradually created the safe points of landmark for maintaining the cultural memory as a basis for the identity. Those are literary and artistic creations. Although identity implies maintenance of ethnic sense through cultural values which could not be summarize of „what it was in the past”, but the writer should participate in creating its own existence „today”, to contribute to what „will be in the future”. Romanian writers from Vojvodina become responsible for creating the complex and difficult framework of position of minority writer in relation with Romanian language and mentality of the majority from the motherland, Romania, by the one side, and with the mentality and ideological factors from Serbian society, by the other side. Romanian minority in Serbia through his way of being and understanding the word is a builder of own and unique existential meanings which should be fixed in writing in order to enter in culture. The reception of Romanian literature from Vojvodina it is not only an inventory of “margins” of Romanian literature but it should belong to axiological revaluation of Romanian literature taken as a whole. In this paper, we will analyse some guidelines about the current position of Romanian writer from Serbia, reflected through researches on issues facing to get out from anonymity with the willingness to contribute to maintaining and enriching Romanian cultural identity in Vojvodina.
