Abstract:
The science of translation is a relative new science which, like any science, uses its own terms. Anyone who is a part of the translation process must become familiar with the terminology by using a specialised dictionary. From this point of view, the work Dicţionar contextual de termeni traductologici. Franceză-română, coordinated by Maria Ţenchea is a useful and practical instrument. By using different sources, the authors made a selection of contexts in French and in Romanian in order to illustrate the use of every term; this structure justifies the title of the dictionary.
