Abstract
The history of the Romanian literature includes writers who, without being leading writers, have modern readers and success on the market. Henriette Yvonne Stahl crossed almost whole 20th century, with all his historical events, wrote nine novels, two volumes of short novels, a volume of poems and performed the translation of ten masterpieces from eight writers. Although she was native French speaker, the writer has created only in Romanian language and never ceased on being Romanian citizen. The men from her life, Ion Vinea and Petru Dumitriu, had in her an incentive of their talent and a formidable critic. The disease was the background of her existence, but this did not spare her from the communist prison experience. Without being enroll in some literary circle or some fancy literary orientation, without writing memories or being diarist, she spread her ego and her experiences throughout his entire opera, and she kept her aristocratic halo and her principles till the end of her life.
Résumé
L’histoire de la littérature roumaine enregistre des écrivains qui, sans être de première place, ont des lecteurs modernes et succès sur le marché. Henriette Yvonne Stahl a traversé presque tout le vingtième siècle avec tous ses événements historiques, elle a écrit neuf romans, deux volumes de nouvelles, un volume de vers et elle a traduit dix œuvres appartenant à huit écrivains étrangers. Tout en ayant le français en tant que langue maternelle, elle a créé en roumain et n’a jamais renoncé à la citoyenneté roumaine. Les hommes de sa vie, Ion Vinea et Petru Dumitriu en ont trouvé un stimulé pour leur talent et un critique redoutable. La maladie a été le fond de sa vie, mais ça ne l’a pas soulagée de l’expérience de la prison communiste. Sans appartenant à aucun cénacle ou orientation littéraire à la mode, sans être mémorialiste ou diariste, mais tout en dissipant son soi et ses expériences dans l’œuvre entière, cette écrivaine a gardé l’auréole aristocratique et ses principes jusqu’au bout de sa vie.
Rezumat
Istoria literaturii române înregistrează scriitori care, fără a fi de prim rang, au lectori moderni şi succes de piaţă. Henriette Yvonne Stahl a traversat aproape întreg secolul al douăzecilea cu evenimentele lui istorice, a scris nouă romane, două volume de nuvele, un volum de versuri şi a tradus zece opere din creaţia a opt scriitori străini. Deşi a avut franceza ca limbă maternă, scriitoarea a creat în limba română şi nu a renunţat niciodată la a fi cetăţean român. Bărbaţii vieţii ei, Ion Vinea şi Petru Dumitriu, au avut în ea un stimulent al talentului lor şi un critic redutabil. Boala a fost fundalul existenţei ei, ceea ce nu a scutit-o de experienţa puşcăriei comuniste. Neînregimentată în niciun cenaclu sau orientare literară la modă, nefiind nici memorialistă, nici diaristă, dar disipându-şi eul şi experienţele în întreaga operă, scriitoarea şi-a păstrat aura aristocratică şi principiile până la sfârşitul vieţii.
