Abstract

The following study outlines the concept and ethical attitudes of Vasile Goldiş as an essential part of his preoccupations in the theoretical and philosophical field. As a Christian-Democrat thinker, a personality attached to universal humanistic and rationalist values, Vasile Goldiş organized his entire life and political activity according to the Christian ethical pattern. The analyses and judgments formulated in the field of ethics have, for the most part, been extended and consistently valued in the fields of ethics applied to political practice, public management,  the clergy and didactic practice.Thus, the moral creed and method of action promoted for the most part by Vasile Goldiş throughout his entire life represent a model belonging to heroic typology.
